AVATR® is the world's first AI-powered service designed to help patients gain control of their own health data, and aid doctors in making informed and personalised clinical decisions outside the traditional 'hospital setting'.
We were approached by tech start-up, Inavya Ventures to help shape the concept from the ground up – and how the service is experienced by both patients and doctors alike.
Through a series of workshops, extensive user research and UX testing (and working closely with scientists, mathematicians and a panel of medical specialists), we developed individual AVATR experiences for both patients and doctors.
THE APPROACH. Unlike other personal data services that normally generalise user trends across large populations, the AI technology harnessed in AVATR is unique to each individual. In fact, the more AVATR learns about its human owner, the more it evolves specifically to that person. We designed a fluid, customisable UI to reflect this.
AVATR connects the patient to the service through an easy-to-use chatbot. As for the doctor, AVATR presents itself as a dynamic and customisable dashboard, complete with powerful, yet easy-to-use data tools.
Ultimately, the idea is to allow AVATR to become a highly personalised and an 'always on' go-between the user and their doctor – opening up the possibility for continuous medical care outside the traditional hospital/GP setting.
Each experience has been specifically designed with the user's needs in mind - giving both the patient and doctor direct control of the data they exchange, whilst respecting their data privacy and security.
The AVATR technology and UX has been successfully evaluated and validated by various medical and health professionals across the globe. These include clinical studies with:
