sensXPERT, a leader in AI-powered solutions for plastics manufacturing, faced a real challenge when it came to showing off its complex “digital mould” product at industry events.


Without a live factory setup, potential customers struggled to see how the technology could fit their specific needs or compare with other solutions.


To solve this, we had to create a compelling way for sensXPERT to tell its story at events, turning technical details into clear, relatable benefits.

BUILDING THE “IMPOSSIBLE” EVENT STAND. Inspired by the “EXPAND YOUR SENSE OF THE POSSIBLE” campaign platform we’d developed for sensXPERT, we introduced the “Impossible Stand,” a gravity-defying structure that brought this core message to life.

Shaped like a precarious Jenga tower, each block featured thought-provoking statements from the original campaign. On the practical side, the stand could be quickly taken apart and reassembled for events across the US and Europe, making it cost-effective and easy to transport.

NAVIGATING A COMPLEX PRODUCT STORY. At the centre of the stand was a clear display case holding sensXPERT’s in-mould sensor and connected Edge device. Two iPads, locked in place and pointed at these components, launched an AR visualisation that showed exactly how the technology works. By simply standing in front of the display, visitors activated the AR and could dive into different learning modules, from real-time data to system integration, each tailored to their interests.

Each visitor’s exploration path was tracked and linked with a few details they provided up front. This meant sensXPERT could tailor its follow-up for each prospect, leading to a more engaging event experience and valuable insights for the sales team long after the show ended.

EXTENDING THE EXPERIENCE ONLINE. Not everyone could make it to the events, so sensXPERT recreated the AR experience on its website. Although it wasn’t strictly “augmented reality,” the online version used interactive visuals and clear explanations to mirror the event setup. It was also optimised for mobile, letting people explore the product on any device.

By offering a consistent, interactive overview online, sensXPERT reached far beyond the physical stand and kept potential leads engaged, no matter where they were.
